Keep not just what happened, but what it meant.
Lyzma is an iPhone app for a family's memories: a child's voice, the photos and videos, and the story around them. Held by your family, and someday given back to your child.
Coming to iPhone, in English, French and Spanish.
Ready the moment it happens.
Lyzma opens on Capture every time. One tap records, and nothing has to be set up first.
-
Record, take or add
Record what was said, take a photo or video, or add them from your library. A widget records from the Home Screen, and anything shared to Lyzma from another app is kept too.
-
Words without typing
Each recording is transcribed on your iPhone, so you can find it later by what was said. You can also write a memory instead, or add a note about what it meant.
-
Memories you kept before
Bring in a journal, letters, recordings, photos and videos from Files, each filed on the day it happened.
A portrait of each child.
Memories gather into a portrait for each child, in the order they happened.
-
Chapters
Group memories into chapters, such as a first year or a summer by the lake, and add a foreword when there's something to say about the whole.
-
Stories
Connect memories across portraits into a story, and make it into a short video with its narration.
-
Memories that come back
Now and then, Lyzma offers a memory from before, to see again or to add what you think of it today. It never asks for more than you want to give.
Yours, and private.
Your memories stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. There are no ads and no tracking. The privacy policy says exactly what goes where.
-
A recovery kit only you hold
Lyzma keeps encrypted recovery copies of your library in your iCloud. Your printed recovery kit opens them on a new iPhone, and nobody else can.
-
Sharing is a choice
Share a story with the people you invite. It is sealed on your iPhone before it leaves, opens in their browser for up to 30 days, and stops for everyone the moment you say so.
-
Files you can read
Each memory is also kept as ordinary files in Lyzma's folder in your iCloud Drive, so it can be opened on a Mac, without Lyzma.
